Terrific collection of stop-motion footage of plants growing, moving towards light sources, roots developing etc. Actually pretty hard to beat - we only wish the film sizes were slightly larger. But they will still be fine on an interactive white board.

This Potato Council site contains two sets of photos. The first set is the one you want - Potato Growing Stages. The images show the different stages of potato growth – seed potatoes, chitting, sprouting, development of leaves, growth of tubers and the crop.
Be aware that to get the full size images you must download the ZIP archive and unZIP this on your own computer.
Very useful for making your own presentations and worksheets etc, not to mention having your class do some nice drag'n'drop sequencing in your whiteboard software.

We were initially unsure of this resource when we saw the word "drink". But apart from the opening slide, it provides a good presentation - explaining what the parts of the plant do. We like the way the animation shows water and minerals being transported around the plant.
