The architecture of the buildings is based on 1930s Bekonscot. Create your village with buildings, roads and bridges. Fits neatly into ICT modelling unit for year 3. This is not as advanced as Sim city, so you will need to provide an element of direction and challenge. Creative teachers will be able to use this in the "should the high street be closed to traffic?" unit.

This online multi-player game simulation will give your most able pupils a great understanding of what makes a settlement work. But it isn't something you can just leave them with and walk away - you will need to work with them to set up their user accounts etc. A real winner for those with Gifted and Talented children in particular.
